Waiting For Your Call Poem by Christian Jude Iankefvozuqx Tan Limpangog

Waiting For Your Call

And so you fly away with a promise on your lips
That you’ll come back someday when the time is ripe
In your arms I will be so happy and free
Like it’s an engagement you tied my heart with you
Your symbol is the phone that is next to me every single day

Like I’m encapsulated by the drastic past
So lost I am to find my last piece of reality
So dreamful I am to catch the lucky smoke
I believe for miracles to come true
Always wishing on stars above every night
But I’m still deeming for what you’ve said to me before

Yes still I’m waiting for your call
You said it’s going to be perfect and alright
Sooner or later it will just be you and me
But you never said it would take this so long
And where are you now, your lost in my eyes
You’re nowhere to be found
And here I am bound for no one at all

So sad to face the truth, you left me stranded
Your there with someone else I guess instead of me
And yet you never come back all this time
How could you do this to me?
After all the faith and trust I bestowed on you
You just left me here with no idea, waiting for your call…
