Waiting On The Past Poem by Patrick Szwaja

Waiting On The Past

every afternoon, i stumble forth from slumber

and see the glorious world another day closer

every evening, i wander the roads with no number

and find that each moment is nothing but past

and each night, i sit here waiting for life to begin

but i always wake up the next day,

and everything is always the same.
