Waking Moment Poem by Loren Denny

Waking Moment

Waking Moment'
Loren Denny

At this moment having it on lend
Complicated by sadness need mend
Untold feelings holding back tru's
My heart my love the me's the use
Caring from partitions far sidelined
Glass House views of stars unaligned at a distance Beyond Stones thrown
Many Faces of me facing them alone
In contempt Holding Onto too long
Bleeding of your name at every wrong
Excusing myself being infant in love context jumping from pokes to shove
Insomuch said changing sun into rain
Hiding of my fears masking my pain
Beauties colors which I stained to red
To this exact spot emotionally lead
Leaving you behind to fight alone
Against battles Duality I'd not shown
Disheartened truth isso tough
My putting me first is never enough
Stop along your Journeys roadway
Your beauty shines both night and day
Never coming from places obscure
sentiments given id toss to the dirt
From placesdepths i only had dreamt
Standing against demons I kept
Tomorrow's memories my lovely things
without valueyour yesterday's brings
