Walk In The Woods-1 - Poem by Famida Basheer
Once more along a bracken wood walk
where the branches whisper their family secrets
while mynas admonish
restless baby monkeys
and the skies peep down between drapes of green
and isolation creates for herself
a strange and homely living room.
And I see it all again
for the first time.
