I've wanted to hold it from the start

Give me a sign, my feelings aren't wasted
That our emotions align, and are not cut and pasted
Direct me, down this path of love
Protect me, from those things above

Which might try and sever, this love for you
Don't want to be clever, this love's so true

Savour, this moment that we might embrace
Flavour this feeling, for we can't replace
The ingredients we have, for a beautiful blend
