Walking In The Rain Poem by Pete Rivera

Walking In The Rain

Did you get sick yesterday
Walking in the rain
Thinking of his shattered heart
Trying not to go insane

Did you lose the key I gave
For you to open the door
To turn the knob and enter the room
The room of my heart's core

My heart is a labyrinth
But you navigated through
You traversed past the walls
And found my feelings for you

They were in a box
Protected by a shell
But now that you know
I'll meet you by the wall

And we can see our destiny
Within the glimmers of water
But we are truly meant to be
So why even bother?

My heart is a labyrinth
But you navigated through
You traversed past the walls
And found my feelings for you
My heart is a labyrinth
But you navigated through
You traversed past the walls
And found my feelings for you
