Walking On Burning Coals Poem by Satish Verma

Walking On Burning Coals

Why do you sit
in silence as if your love has
been amputated.

Sometimes pain behaves like
adrenalin, which takes away the agony of
breakup. A dream is aborted.

I am writing again
a saga of Greek tragedy. The
blood has an odour of roses.
