Walking The Lab Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Walking The Lab

Rating: 1.8

Walking the Lab on a February day
is a test of man and canine

The parking lot is frozen over
ridges of blue ice in a perimeter
of grimy charcoal snow

Should we leave the Subaru
and trust two legs and four legs
to maintain balance & poise?
the man behind the wheel said
to himself and herself in back.

Another day perhaps
like the 12th of May!
