Lodging at Zhongnan Mountain
- Wang Wei
Since middle-aged, I began following the Dao;
IN OLD AGE at Zhongnan Shan's foothill I live now.
Whenever I feel the urge, alone I take wing;
It's JOYFUL FOR M"SELF, SEEING THE GOODNESS in all things.
When I come to the end of the stream winding,
I sit down and watch the white clouds ascending.
In the woods I meet an old man firewood cutting,
We chat, we laugh, we have no thought of returning.

《終南別業》唐 王維
中歲頗好道, 晚家南山陲。
興來每獨往, 勝事空自知。
行到水窮處, 坐看雲起時。
偶然值林叟, 談笑無還期。
