Wanna Be A Rockstar Poem by Joe Corbett

Wanna Be A Rockstar

(Verse 1)
Should I quit my day job
keep following my dreams
I wanna to be a rock star
and nothing in between.
Do you think I`m good enough
wanna play a sold out show,
what about a record deal
this I gotta know.

(Verse 2)
Think I wanna be
just like Dr.Hook
cover of the Rolling Stone
I`ll put it in my book.
if you give me half a chance
I`m jonny on the spot
I`ll never tell you about
something that I`m not.

(Bridge)
So should I quit my day job
really I`m no flake,
one thing I know
my balls you`ll never break.

(Verse3)
So what I really Love
is the bass line and the tone
but when they play double bass
feel it in my bones.
I`ll keep on singing
singing on the microphone
I`ll stay here till
they tell me to go home.

(Chorus A)
So should I quit my day job
working twards my deal
should I quit my day job
my story is for real.
(Chorus B)
Should I quit my day job
working twards my Deal
one thing I gotta say
my story is for real.
