Wanted: Dead Or Alive Poem by Billy Thompson

Wanted: Dead Or Alive

A mistake as a youngster
Found deep inside my soul
I created a monster
Beyond and out of control

Though it was not my intent
Responsible I still remain
Choosing not to repent
Production of my shame

My loins bounce and sway
Earmarks of my deceit
Pausing only for delay
Then I continue and repeat

I pay homage to the violated
Not to my future as a father
For that part I am hated
With protection I didn't bother

Her body was mind to exploit
I thinking that lust was free
To defray cost I opted to abort
She chose life and visions me

Wanting to make it right
I have only myself to blame
Yet I continue to fight
Refusing this innocent my name
