War Poem by richard belis

the battle field for bloody and killing,
I hated war its so violent and you see people die,
for what reason a country who wants more profit,
a wealthy country who wants to take something from another,
is that the reason we die in war, is that why we're baby killers,
well i don't think war should happen,
why watch people get their heads blown off,
and see them cry forma shot to their legs and arms,
I felt a dead mans body before and i can say its so lifeless,
I felt like I myself was going to die and my heart just stopped,
and I sat and cried thinking of never seeing my parents,
my wife and my children, I can't lose them,
and i won't so I leave with this message,
war is awful and is not needed,
thank you and try feeling the pain of the loss of your family,
and don't join the war its only pain......
