Warrior Of The Lost Battle Poem by Jabil Manandhar

Warrior Of The Lost Battle

Rating: 5.0

Come on!
Walk with me to the horizon…
Flying alone…?
Out of the question!
But I won't mind…
If you wish to sink,
Promise you,
I'll cause no harm to your dreams.

Lovely angel flew away,
Lonely devil cried and died to live,
But never ever ready to believe…
Lost in dreams,
That faded long ago.
Hero of the sin,
That's never been born.

Feels good;
When there's no one in the dark,
Feels good;
When someone stands by my side,

Thinking twice and thrice,
I reached that point…
Thought so real, fake!
Sketched myself,
In several ways.
Spoke the truth,
On the bitter lonely days.

And I recalled,

You did try to indicate the danger;
Standing upon your shadow,
Was the stranger!
But I didn't really feel inside,
(I was doing good)
You kept shouting…
And shouting…
But I only saw your lips move!
