Farewell Poem by Jabil Manandhar

Farewell

Rating: 5.0

Thought that you'd greet me warm
Thought that you'd feel my presence
But I saw you crying senseless!
And so cried the sky,
Raindrops-tip and top,
As it kissed the ground.

I remembered the first time we met,
Earthly feelings!
Oh! How I wished to say,
'Missed you so bad! '

Thousands of flowers weighed on me,
I realized you'd lost my shoulder.
I'm sorry! My play's complete,
Now it's your stage,
My bed's fetched, might look weird,
But swear I'm comforted!

All my things are left behind,
For I'm traveling light!
I'm leaving some memories
And some responsibilities.
Hope you'll understand how I tried all my life!
Don't let it disappear,
Or I'll be no more!

Give me a hug, my love.
Take care!
The flight's ready, got to go!
Now, greet me warm
And feel my presence... Absence...
Whatever!
But don't let me cry in heaven!
