'Watch Out' 12/8/08 Poem by Sallie Marie Tompkins

Watch out for lies,
and unholy soul ties.
If you keep them,
you won't be spiritual alive.
They could possibly cause you to take an unwanted dive.
The relationship will desenegrate and smell like sour cream, onions, and chives.
Watch out for false witnesses,
all they want to do is get in your bizness.
You are better than that.
Tell them the truth,
healing is where it's at.
Truth hurts, just like a baby when it burps,
yet carving character is what it's worth.
Watch out.. there is about to be a new world birth.
Many waters have been tested,
this is a warning, your life will never be the same,
you must, I repeat, you must get out of the game.
Don't drive your mama insane and your death she will feel she's the blame.
Watch out cuz da steets want you, yet you are better than that.
Watch out, don't pout, prayer warriors go ahead and do your victory shout, so the prisoners can come on out.
