Watching Mtv In The 80s

WATCHING MTV

Bored as I may be.
Staying up late night just to see.
Seeing the videos. Staying up late
night to paint my toes.
I love the cute guys, but not
the ones with the fat thighs.
Watching MTV, releases
something in me.
I get high by the fancy cars.
I am even higher at the thought
of becoming a star.
The girl got dumped by the boy.
The kitten plays with the toy.
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little girl died too soon.
Prince sings a duet.
U2 shows a war we will never forget.
Aretha is riding on the Freeway.
Tina sings of how love don’t pay.
The Police say “Don’t Stand So Close”.
John Lennon sang “I love You the Most”.
Wham starts with “Wake Me Up Before You Go”.
But leaves with I don’t want to be in a band
no mo.
It’s obvious Wham broke up. What? Mick
Jagger drinking beer from a cup.
Micheal creates Thriller.
Joe Piscopoe does a commercial about Miller.
Billy Idol sings “Eyes Without A Face”.
Stevie Nicks sings “Leather and Lace”.
A commercial about Guess Jeans.
A Pills Bro. Highlight about coffee beans.
A new band splits. Producer the money gits.
Music news is up now. Farm Aid raises money
to save a cow.
Bob Geldoff starts Live Aid.
Movie stars begin a crusade.
There is some kind of helping aid everywhere,
Which are the ones who truly care?
I have seen the same video twice.
Now I know it is time to call it a night.
Just Watching MTV.

Thanks Joe, but it's just a poem.....Art, not to be taken too seriously. I read all kinds of books including the bible. There is a time a place for everything.....that is the great joys of freedom....balancing different interests and activities......Thanks for your input though.

Watching and worship are the key thoughts - maybe read a book or Bible
