Watching Over Me Poem by Singleton M. Tate

Watching Over Me

There is cause and effect,
What is a soul to do?
Existence here is crude,
As my life comes unglued.

Pressured to live life fast,
Material gain and fame,
Is what the world's about,
Yet, all seems like a game.

He's watching over me,
Unseen, though He may be,
His Presence drapes my life,
I've found, Love's Paradise...

Is there a Divine Plan?
Inside, I'll search for clues,
In all of my mistakes,
My heart cried out to you.

No one else can truly love me,
I've settled on this fact,
Traded in my Garden of Eden,
Now, I'll fight to get it back...

He's watching over me,
Unseen, though He may be,
His Presence drapes my life,
I've found, Love's Paradise...

Reveal your will, hear my plea,
Unlock these chains, set me free,
Send your mercy and grace,
As I surrender all in this place...

He's watching over me,
Unseen, though He may be,
His Presence drapes my life,
I've found, Love's Paradise...
