Water Shriek Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Water Shriek

The waters shriek
To-night
There must be
Wraiths in them
To-night.

The spirits
They
Be
Not
Gone
They
Still
Inhabit.

And
Mists
And
Chill
And
Frosty
Eyes
Of
Snows
And
Bitten
Noses.
They be still there
To dwell as cruel.
