Water Under Bridge Poem by Kevin Keeble

Water Under Bridge

Water flowing under bridge.
See it flow from distant ridge.
It starts out pure, crystal clear.
Sparkling over fall and weir.
Then we taint it as we speak.
Washing over the mild and meek.
Flowing on rushing past.
Knowing words will ever last.
Never cleansed from those so kind.
Although they say 'Never Mind'.
Words will stay forever there.
While on that bridge we distant stare.
Watching tainted water flow.
Carrying the hurt we will never know.
