Waters Of My Love Poem by Ricky Jackson

Waters Of My Love

Just as you can't add darkness to light.
Just as a bird can't forget how to fly.
I'll never leave you.
Oh, how I want to.

Fill your heart with the waters of my love,
until you're drowning, surrounded by this flood
of my mercy.
Oh, how I love you.

And I won't rest until you see my love...
I won't cease until you feel my grace...

I am the life and the truth. I make all things new.
I'm the Whisper in the stillness of the night.
I'm the way and the love. Oh, how one day you'll know my love.
And I'll carry you through each step of your life.

Just as you can't undo what I've done at the cross,
To show my love for the broken and lost.
I love you.

And with each dying breath I didn't have to take,
but more so with the living, breathing heart that I made
beat for you.
Oh, how I adore you...

And I won't rest until you see my love...
I won't cease until you feel my grace...

I am the life and the truth. I make all things new.
I'm the Whisper in the stillness of the night.
I'm the way and the love. Oh, how one day you'll know my love.
And I'll carry you through each step of your life.

Of your life.
Though you are small, I am big.
And I can see over these mountains,
you fall down hard,
I see you crying
I am with you always
with you always...

And I won't rest until you see my love...
I won't cease until you feel my grace...

I am the life and the truth. I make all things new.
I'm the Whisper in the stillness of the night.
I'm the way and the love. Oh, how one day you'll know my love.
And I'll carry you through each step of your life.
