We Poem by Julius Akim

We

Whenever I think about the word 'we',
I feel that it is about u and I;
All the time I am reassured that we,
Have been knowing each other for ages.

Whenever I feel forlorn and empty,
I think about your stunning novelty;
Not that I am falling merely for that,
It's your innocence that intrigues me most.

Hence we encrypt our flaws and arcanum,
And then decrypt them in such a manner;
That only the two of us can decode,
Whence the word 'us' becomes our mutual friend.

If I were to rearrange the letter,
Surely I'll put 'u' and 'i' together.
