of house yard apricot
tree that's how it goes with never a knock
on the heavy gate all's still yet in the leaves
beliefs above my head and old in the dream
such moanings murmurs as we are

the wind that whispers at the gate that never knocks
but only grazes chafes at the smeared
posts is neverstill the wall
starts to tremble knows
not where to turn and leaves my brow
alone to dream this dream of the older we
