We Poem by James Waters

We

We the arrogant, the vile and the mean
We the wretched, the quiet unseen
We the aristocrat, the chosen elite
We the dirt, the dust on your feet

We the rich, the master race
We the poor, unclean disgrace
We with the money, the power and fame
We the nobody, the face with no name

We the pampered, the spoon-fed spoiled
We the ones who sweat and toiled
We who forgot who made us what we are
We the lowly workers that made this country go far

We the politically correct who whine and cry
We the soldiers fight and die
We who think the poor are a bore
We the fed up who will tolerate no more

We the people who make America strong
The worker, the spoiled, the black, red and white
The opinionated, the jerk, and the priest
The face of America wrong or right
