We Ain't But Plants Poem by Neran Sati

We Ain't But Plants

We ain't but plants
someone's dreamy hand
implanted, to pull out
willingly, cut
blossoms off
to shine up
its lodge
before petals gone.

Wildflowers will be
waiting bees
joining the pairs
- in honey.
