We Are One In The Same
The glare in your eyes
Is like a cascade of pearls
Illuminating the path
Into our darkening trails
For the times we have shared
Are so meaningful to me
None so beautiful
As the cabin by the sea
Staring in your eyes
Brings my blood to a boil
We have so much in common
Yet live on different soil
But no matter what
We must always pull through
For we are one in the same
Me and you.
