We Aside Poem by D.S. Bell

We Aside

I outlived many others
didn't outlive many others
I outlived my sisters and my brothers
didn't outlive many fathers or mothers

and, I, I don't know who I cry for
which of the two, too, which deserve it more
it looks to me, aside, to my own surprise
best not to decide, like you, we're together.

I outlived many others
didn't outlive many others
I outlived my sisters and my brothers
didn't outlive many fathers or mothers

we aside, the future loves only the future.
and, as, as for the past..
