We Can - Poem by kristin brokaw

we can talk til the world ends
we can bend it like beckham bends
we can lie and say we are friends
we can read all the emails he sends

we can laugh til sun rise
we can sing to win a prize
we can try on every size
we can eat up all the fries

we can yell and scream
we can follow our dream
we can make it seem
we can play as a team

we can learn we can teach
we can fall we can reach
we can play at the beach
we can eat a golden peach

we can live 10 more years
we can drink no more beers
we can cheer to no more cheers
we can conquer all our fears
