We Could Talk! - Poem by SAKISABRE Saki

Jaasia came in the desert like world
The desert storm
Went away so soon
Blowing away the dust....
The feb 1996 was full of political chaos
There was no decision to transfer to any good hospital!
See here on the hospital bed
A she baby is kept
It has died at 4 am
It lost its heart beat
Or its death is fixed
I went at 7 to see
A dead baby is born!
what the bearer tells!
yes! a she baby is kept on the death bed!
Why so quickly?
I didn't talk to you
Nor the good Mother!
Come back!
I will never be late!
That night i was sick....
So i went early to sleep!
She doesn't come:
A pink baby!
The eyebrow!
My short nose!
Jaasia come back!
Had she come back again!
