We, Do Now Care Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

We, Do Now Care

I know, but don't care
in each other, we are there
merged tributaries!

between our bodies
lay forgotten yesterdays
but we, are not lost

you can taste me soon
enough that you are missing
me; as the sun rises...

all the world now knows
what was missing is now found
this, we do now care...
