We failed them

Each birthday
-though a day like others
-even if on wrong day
-makes bubbles
-in the veins

This one is all the same…

Some pro
Some against
I must say:
Both are right

In the world of today
-unlike past
-country is a cage
-we are birds
-with cut wings
-and feathers

Example
USA

Even in sixties and seventies
-world saw her as centre
-for the hope
-for the world
-for people
-now is rock, stone
-or bullet, or marble
-in a gun or sling
-sent to hit to bleed
-or received
-full of hate
-thrown by…?
-to hurt and…
-damage, kill…

Therefore, we
-are the dots
-and are names
-on papers,
-as well as Internet
-registered
-with sort of history
-and flag and anthem
-to have life with a name

Birthday means
-day, moth, year

Canada's?

Let's have it…
-against says:
- "Date is wrong! "
-and is right…
-pro says:
- "This is best! "
-question mark!

I love the wise comment
-of PM: "We've failed them."

Hey people
-let's confess
-let's come, sit
-love and chat
-verbal fights
-suggestions
-disagree
-till agree
-on right day
-as Birthday
-even if feels a fake!

It is joy to hear leaders of
-Federal, Province and city
-sit and say:
- "Improve the Portland."
-to a park with bike-ride
-walk-space and the shops
-walk distance from town
-by Cherry…

I love talks with patience
-and smiles, sincere
-resilience, if failing,
-sleepless days and nights
-to the end, finding way
-for peaceful settlement

And why not?

Canada of the past
-I am sure
-was,
-and has been
-a great, respectful…
-area
-buried now
-most of her rich cultures
-stories of her fights
-struggles
-to win, win, overcome
-wilderness, cold, insects
-and divides of tribes
-with tricks and treats

A look at
-names
-and tongues
-says a lot of divides

But the facts
-are the facts
-remain facts
-if happy and sweet
-or bitter and if sad

They remain
-fact, fact, fact

And the wise
-while fighting
-for the best of results
-must keep eye and brain
-wide open to the facts
-regardless of the wounds
-blood shed
-and the cause
-or causes…

Let us sit find a way
-with respect

Let us love
-let us hug and unite

Let us be humble and
-have the guts
-to agree:
- "The harmed has surely lost…"
-we must dare…
-extend hand…
-try to compensate…
-dress and heal the wounds…
-give them cane to walk with…
-right place to preach, practice…
-freedom to dig deep…
-explore, discover, recover…
-find, cherish and praise
-treasures broken and shattered or hidden…
-expand and respect and share with them…

Birthday is required
-but what date?
-which flag?
-and anthem?

The older siblings
-the ones with more knowledge
-deserve to be involved
-they must be partners…

Mother is respected
-must remain respected
-by all of children
-born to her and fosters
-colourless, gender-less…
