We've misunderstood life, taken it the wrong way,
Never learned what it truly means to live each day.
Let's lift the veil from our eyes and see,
The essence of life, wild, boundless, and free.
Imagine a bird of paradise perched high,
Its song a melody that touches the sky.
We're entranced, in love with its enchanting tune,
But in our haste, we capture it, too soon.
We place it in a gilded cage, admiring its grace,
For a day or two, but its song fades to a distant place.
Its colors dull, its spirit, once wild and free,
Subdued and weakened, a shadow of what used to be.
For life, like that bird, is meant to soar and sing,
To grow, to bloom, to dance on unbound wings.
When confined, its beauty wilts away,
Its voice weakens, its colors fade to gray.
Set it free, let it soar and sing,
Like falcons gliding on unbound wings.
Life should be lived without chains,
In freedom's embrace, where love and joy remain.
You were born free, but chained yourself within
Unlock the cage, let your true life begin.
