We Live Poem by Gary James Smith

We Live

Rating: 5.0

We Live

We live with a mountain of sin
That has piled up over the years
That keeps us in bondage to the lust of flesh
And paralyzes us with its fears
The lust of the eyes and pride of life
Are added complications
These things are of the world
Blinding us to the need of Salvation

The world passes away and the lust thereof
But there's a life that is so much better
For whosoever doeth the will of God
That soul will abide forever
Don't let Satan lead you astray
To set your affection on things below
But set your affection on things above
And you'll receive God's blessings also

Praise God for the Resurrection
That He's delivered us from death
When we breathe our last on earth
Our next breath is Heavens breath
Then by His Spirit transported
To be in His presence... Divine
Hallelujah for that wonderful Saviour
For I am His and He is mine!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
