We Made Love Poem by Patrick Jomo

We Made Love

The sun rose with a bright smile,
Spreading its rays evenly along the neglected beach.
The waves moved slowly hitting the shore with care
As though to avoid harm.
The sea breeze blowing gently temporarily erasing past memories
We were left with this moment;
To embrace and enjoy!

She held my hands, slowly leading me
To a perfect position.
Her eyes imploring my face with a friendly fear.
The tips of our left fingers connected,
Sending urgent signals to my heart.
She raised my right hand to a height slightly above our heads.
Then,
Tenderly she turned my hand,
Lowered it down leaving our elbows raised.
She smiled...
As we made love in the air!
