We Say Hi' Poem by Elias Ng'ang'a K.

We Say Hi'

We say hi'

Back in at our cradle land
We normally say hi'
We say hi' to others
We say hi' to neighbours
We greet each other
But we say more than hi'

We enquire about our welfare
We care about others needs
We get interested with our relatives
We help even with words
Not like up here
Where everyone looks at you
Like a disgust.
But we say more than hi'

We dine together
We lift each other up
We help.we say hi'
We do more than say hi'
We critic not to criticise
We don't take the cup of
Double standards
We correct,
We warn and love
But we do say more than hi'

Can't wait to get back
They definitely will say hi'
And I will say more than hi.'
