We Seem So Small

We seem so small,
As we walk up to the crowd,
The crowd that’s shouting,
And protesting more,

We seem so small,
As we stare up at the sky,
The sky filled with a million stars,
And memories beyond our sight,

We seem so small,
As we stand on this mountain top,
On this mountain breaking through the heavens,
Through the eternal blue skies,

We seem so small,
As we pick flowers,
Wild flowers in a meadow,
In a time without end,

We seem so small,
As we stare into each other’s blue eyes,
And hold each other’s small hand,
And walk through the extensive world.
