We...The People?

Rating: 4.5

We the people.
We who work to deliver
We who follow a believer
We who are yet to be rewarded
We who accept being disregarded
We who form a single block
We who carry the rock
We who share lifes with a puppet master
We who play our roles, just to die faster.
We who pay our dues
We who trade the abuse
We who do at once speak out
We who then get thrown out
We who count our broken bones
We who protect the thrones
We who tower above the rest
We who deny our guest.
We who cheer for execution
We who claim one institution
We who know our own truth
We who live under a round roof
We who benefit from selfdestruction
We who make the reconstruction
We who eat our own dust
We who chuckle, as we rust.
We the people.

It is little wonder that we are looked upon with contempt around the world
