We The People Poem by Lore Me34

We The People

We the people the ones who sprung from those who were once or could have been warriors, princes, princess, queens and kings but in America they were slaves. We have to remember all they sacrificed for us to be free today.
We the people must quit making and accepting excuses from those who oppress us.
We the people must no longer beg for our rightful place at America's table. We must demand it.
We the people must quit accepting the pacifier of money as a solution to racial equality and equal justice.
My African American people, we must change our train of thought of being unworthy of equality and start knowing that we are worthy of equality in America. We are the people that built America! ! !
We the people
We the people
We the African American People.
