We Want To Start Fresh - Poem by Jerry Abrahamson

It's the start of a new year
And we want to start fresh
To go on from here
To forget about the past

And we hope that people
Will let us do it
For it doesn't do any good
To bring up the past

So let's start out
With a clean slate
And solve all our problems
From this point and beyond
