We Were The Whole Adam Poem by Tina Baaklini

We Were The Whole Adam

My love,

You know me as a light at the heart of the sun
For you and I were the whole Adam
We were neither a man, nor a woman
One heart, one soul in heaven

We hold the same soul imprint
Our sole identity in the universe
We are a soul in human form
Rather than humans with a soul

Our human body is temporary
Whereas our soul lives eternally
Your love for me is beyond compare
You love my soul unconditionally, and that's rare

I don't know how to describe you
A divine gift; a bliss from the 7th sky
A precious treasure from fate
But what I'm sure about is that
You're my sweet tender soulmate
