We will be gods you say
But I do not want to be a God
We will be perfect you exclaim
But no one is perfect
We will be evrything amazing
But we still live our lives in the shadows

Yes it sounds wonderful
But are we not still young?
We can be together graceful
But we have years to dream our dark dreams
I wished to make you an angel
But maybe being benighted is our fate

I won't be a God
But I will stay with you
And if that means we are the bad guys
So be it my love but only ever for you
Will we be Gods
