Weakness Poem by Victoria Johnson

Weakness

Anger and pain i had built up like a wall
a smile was all it took to met it all
Your words echoed in my ears
as longing overcame fear
Guiltridden, i wonder if i hadn't met you would life be simpler
but then the butterflies reply for me and remind me how you've made me happier
When i decided to hastily fall flat on my face in love with you
Did i realize there was a chance of my heart being torn apart with gaping holes that might never heal
Nor did i noe that he was the that i thought of when i woke up till i fell asleep at night
Even then i'd dream about our life together
Would love be as wonderful if there were no fights, no jealusy, no pain
It would make us grateful for the goodtimes and know that every fight was going to help make you better and stronger
