My Dad WOUKD punish me by not talking to me. I hated it. Sometimes though, if around a crazy person, I shut up. Mostly believe in communication. Never heard of God getting silent to punish anyone. Love works.no?

What is known as the silent treatment, can indeed, be quite effective. There's something about silence that can stir the conscience, if it's a guilty one. Nicely done!
