Wear Me Out Poem by jessie warren

Wear Me Out

Hold me, Be me (whispered)
Love me, Hate me

Here I am holding my little heart shaped mirror.
My reflection of myself has been slowly getting dimmer.
Living through my life purely just to get it over
but my mind is making everything slower.
I won't give in to you.
I won't be anything like you.
Though subconsciously I'll do everything for you.

Hold me, Be me (whispered)
Love me, Desecrate me

Its cracking before my eyes.
Is this supposed to be my surprise?
Its contacting me externally as it falls through the crack.
Each slit is for everything I lack.
Theres no need to become
now that you have your sum.

Save me, Hide me (whispered)
Rape me, Kill me

Theres nothing that you haven't done.
