Wearing The Comfortable You, Needing Nothing More Poem by Jane Owe

Wearing The Comfortable You, Needing Nothing More

Wearing nothing but our shame we have no fears
The smallest bit of light burns though we embrace the pain
Comfortable in our own denial for it’s the only place we have ever known
You will trip and continue to hide it
Needing to feel alive again we ditch all reasons
Nothing could ever take us from what you create
