Weary Weather Poem by Panya Gangmei

Weary Weather

Thick, dark clouds covered the sky.
Soaring birds are deter to fly.
The storm shouts! the trees shivers.
The tree groans and its branches shutter.

Sky weeps, a silver tears descend.
The earth exhale the rain-mud blend.
The avian chorus hushed, drowned by the downpour's lament.
Men's tasks were laid down, in this rain-soaked land.

Wet shrubs lies untouched, as no soul dare the soggy path.
Crickets silence it's chorus, tucked away from the soaked earth.
But tomorrow, the sun shall shine golden grace
Birds will sing their endless chase.
