Web Poem by Tiffani Williams

Web

it's some tangeled web you weave.
slowly killing me
eyes on the prize
you watch me as i die
knowing what you're doing
not really knowing why
it makes you feel great
all strong inside.
but you are only as strong
as the hearts you break
and slowly i'm learning this every day
but i never turn the other cheek
i never walk away
mummified and paralyzed by your sadistic grace
you'll kill me all the ways in the book
and i have such terrible luck
