Wedding Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Wedding

Rating: 3.0

As the winter sets in
Seasonal-flowers of the term
Set to drench the gardens in colours
Bringing a lot of cheers to the lovers
Lovers of the flowers choosing-
Shapes, sizes and species
To showcase gardening skills
Gearing up and get going.

Combining to create swatches
Swirls and drifts in all about
Creating lovely mixed flower-beds
Large or small, formal or informal
Straight or curved but, no stiff rows
And, in clumps or groups all around
Eyes and eyes moving all along-
Also up and down clear in the mind.

Sure, a treat to an eye-
Winter's blooming bounty
Adding ornaments to Nature
As a bride gets ready for wedding.
