Wedged Below Poem by nathaniel cane

Wedged Below

Whach out where you walk for the crack grows, the crack grows, if you fall all goes black, all goes away. But now you see, that faint glow just above your head but as you climb it grows deep and small, wedging you below, sealing you below. So now you wonder, now you think, how this came to be. So as you think you come to know how it came to be you never looked, you never watched were you put your feet so now you know that a simple mistake can leave you trapped below, in the dark, in the dirt never to return.
