Welcome Home Poem by Natalie Paprocki

Welcome Home

</>Welcome Home
As I walked through the door way,
the sensation of excitement raced through my body.
I could hear the cries of the new born baby.
I raced to my mom with anticipation,
in hopes to see my parents creation.
As I walked closer and closer to my mom's bedside,
I saw something so unreal, a perfect little baby doll.
I reached out and rubbed my new baby sister's cheek,
as she squirmed around like a worm.
My mom handed me the most precious gift.
As I rocked her back and fourth,
she closed her eyes gracefully.
I was glad she was part of my family.
