Welcome To Hell
Lost again,
Drowning in
The familiarity
of perpetual despair,
& I think to myself...
'Where did everyone go? '
Once-familiar
Smiling faces
Glower ravenously -
Vultures
& soon-to-be
Roadkill.
Condemned once again,
Caught in the crossfire
of love & hate
Still lodged in
Bitter scar tissue.
No more love
For a silent heart.
